"Before the World Told Me Who to Be" is a series of abstract works exploring the return to one’s authentic self.
We are born intuitive, open, and whole. As we grow, the world teaches us to fit roles and expectations — and we often lose connection with our inner voice. These paintings create a space where the viewer can meet themselves again.
The series is divided into three parts:
Infantia — the original state of purity before external influence.
Iuventus — the search for identity shaped through expectations.
Maturitas — the quiet strength of returning to one’s true essence.
The titles are in Latin because Latin reflects the root of meaning, a language before cultural interpretation — just as this series turns toward the inner self that existed before the world told us who to be.

This decision is deeply connected to my belief that art is not only about personal expression, but also about guidance, inspiration, and nurturing the creative voices of others.
Teaching art means helping 👆 people see the world differently, develop sensitivity, imagination, and confidence — and I am grateful to be moving toward this role with both practical experience and academic study.

Their love blossomed amidst shared purpose and a belief in a brighter future. Through paintings, I capture their love, resilience, and impact on my life. Vibrant colors and expressive forms reflect their passion and determination. Each brushstroke is an ode to their enduring love and the human spirit's power to triumph over adversity.

Holding my breath, I submitted a piece that felt like an extension of myself. Weeks later, the news arrived – they'd chosen mine! My heart pounded as I saw my artwork towering over the city, a giant whisper transformed into a vibrant shout. It felt surreal – my vision, once confined to canvases, resonating with the pulse of the city.
From anonymous artist to creator writ large on the cityscape, the journey was humbling. Now, watching faces light up at the billboards, I know this is more than just art. As an artist, I am always striving to evolve and find new ways to express my ideas and emotions. Lately, I've come to realize that acrylic, my go-to medium, is no longer fully serving me. Its viscous consistency restricts the freedom of my movements and hinders me from fully conveying the emotions I want to embody in my work.
In search of a softer and more fluid medium that would allow me to better express myself, I turned my attention to the Ink Flow technique. This technique, based on the use of liquid inks paints, gives me much more creative freedom.
I've been enthusiastically exploring Ink Flow by attending courses and workshops.
However, the more I delve into this new technique, the more I realize that I'm not interested in simply copying other people's methods.
My goal is to find my own visual language, one that is unique and distinctive.
It's a challenging journey, full of experiments and explorations. But I am confident that in the end, I will be able to create my own unique style that will allow me to fully express my inner world.

New Studio, New Materials: Adventures Continue!

Moving to a new studio is not just a change of scenery, it's always new opportunities and challenges. And one of the main challenges is switching to new materials.
Each country has its own art supplies, and their chemical properties may not give quite the result I'm used to. This means that I will once again have to go through a path of experiments and searches to find the perfect combination of materials and techniques.
But I'm not discouraged! I already have experience working with different materials in different conditions, and I'm sure I'll quickly get my bearings and find new solutions.
This is perhaps the main plus of moving: it pushes me out of my comfort zone and makes me try new things. And this always leads to growth and development.
I look forward to new creative discoveries and will gladly share my experiments with you, my dear readers.
